The holidays are over, which means holiday parties and holiday themed weddings are on hiatus until the end of the year. But that doesn’t mean winter-themed weddings are out of style just yet. Thankfully, you can still have a winter soiree without tying in the holidays. If you’re ready to start planning that winter wedding but want it to be holiday-free, here are some tips for planning your season-appropriate event at Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC.

Colors

Planning your wedding is all about love - and colors. Your colors set the mood for your big event, but once Christmas is over, you may want to shy away from reds and greens as your color theme. Thankfully you literally have a rainbow array of choices to pick from. Any color works, depending on the shade. Just stick with winter whites, or deep or bright colors, and you can’t go wrong.

Menu

With heavy holiday meals back on ice, planning your winter wedding menu just got a lot easier. Skip the carving station for individually plated entrees and soups. You want your guests to stay warm, so feel free to get creative with classic comfort foods like mini grilled cheese and tomato soup glasses, or bread bowls with french onion soup. Your menu can be nearly anything you want it to be, so speak to our in-house catering team about your wishes.

Venue Location

Dreaming of a white wedding? Occasionally we do have snow in NYC, which is visible from our rooftop venue. Want to get married on the roof but worry about the chill? We can install portable space heaters to keep you and your guests comfortable.

If you’d prefer to hold your celebration inside, at Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC our high ceilings and raw space offer ample opportunities for all kinds of decor, including chandeliers and cascading flower arrangements. Just because you’re getting married indoors doesn’t mean it has to feel like you’re inside!

Decor

Because it’s still winter, a cozy vibe is a great way to decorate your raw spaces. Bring in comfy lounge sofas and throw pillows for your guests enjoyment. Decorate with candlelight for an intimate glow. Speak to our in-house AV team, AV Workshop about creating a lighting theme that ties in your wedding colors and enhances the warm glow of the NYC skyline, and makes the room feel more warm and inviting.

Fashion

Winter fashion offers the opportunity for long sleeves, shawls, and bolder colors than you might choose during other times of the year. While you can still go strapless at our indoor venue, if you’ve always wanted that Kate Middleton long sleeved look, winter is the perfect time to try it out and still stay comfortable in the weather. Wool suits for the groom and groomsmen look dashing any time of year, but will be appreciated that much more at your winter wedding.

No matter if you’re ‘married’ to a holiday theme or just want to go neutral winter, Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC can provide you with the raw space to make it happen. To learn more about our venue and what we can offer, please contact Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC today.
